Recovery under your control
The utility prepares a local snapshot, encrypts it before upload, and checks recovery copies. Backup results are available in the local application.
02 / GOOGLE ACCESS
Limited Drive access
The utility requests Google's drive.file permission. This covers files created by the app or explicitly made available to it. The backup connection does not request access to email, contacts, calendars, or all Drive files.
03 / PROTECTION
Separate keys and backups
Recovery keys and credentials are excluded from uploaded archives. Google connection credentials are stored in macOS Keychain. The recovery key is kept separately.
